ACES Youth Home provides temporary and long-term residential placement and care for youths, both boys and girls, ages 12-18. We provide a safe, secure, and nurturing home for youths who have been victims or abuse or neglect. We help children discover their strengths and learn to cope with the crises in their lives. We strive to recognize the value and dignity of each individual we serve.
ACES is able to provide residential placement for up to 8 youth. We provide this in a safe and nurturing environment under the supervision of well-qualified and trained staff. While we are prepared to provide this care for an extended period of time, we understand that our primary responsibility is to provide care until family or other more permanent placement can be provided. We support the reunification process and provide visitation with family members if at all possible.
While in our care, children receive assessments, planning, facilitation, case management, and counseling in concert with DFCS all while our staff focuses on making sure our residents receive the required services to meet their safety, personal, health, educational, spiritual, social, and recreational needs.
